Pamela was bored in her career as a graphic designer. She was working at an advertising firm where the culture had grown toxic. She was coming home every day unmotivated and dejected. In the beginning of our coaching journey together, we did an incredible amount of work centered around her values, strengths, and aspirations. In this process, she recognized that she had always enjoyed working with children through her years of volunteer work and now wanted to teach. After identifying this, we designed an action plan where she pursued and completed her necessary teaching credentials and broadened her professional network. Soon after, she was hired for a teaching position at a nearby elementary school—doing exactly what she wanted to be doing where she wanted to be doing it. As a result, she flourished in her new community and created an abundance of connection and impact in her everyday life.

Chris had spent a fair amount of time as an organizer for a rather large music festival and realized it wasn't what he wanted anymore. He came to coaching eager to figure out what his next steps could look like. After an in-depth discovery process and coaching around his values, strengths and aspirations, he realized 1) he had a knack for organization, structure, and program development 2) he wanted to take on a leadership position and 3) he desired to return to his high school alma mater—an institution whose values very much, he believed, mirrored his own. Through coaching, we designed a plan that saw him initiate dialogue with his connections at the school, discuss with them his idea for a new leadership position, create and submit a job proposal per their request, and ultimately, get hired for the very role had created. Consequently, he was ecstatic that his vision had come to fruition and felt as if he had stepped into his true calling.

Though Ashley liked her colleagues and had a wonderful relationship with her boss, she had grown incredibly bored in her work as an engineer. She felt disinterested and stagnant. She realized that she had grown tired of working by herself so often and felt isolated. She wanted a calling more centered on working with people and relationship building. Through coaching, we worked together to closely examine these realizations, as well as her whole set of strengths and interests. After identifying them, we then designed a plan for her to begin looking at pathways and industries outside of engineering that aligned with them. This search led her to corporate recruiting. Within two months of coaching, she landed her first gig as a recruiter for one of the top firms in her state.
